This game studies two 'wh' sounds.

MatchIt is a very fun card game. One of the MatchIt Games even made it to the 'Top Ten Games.'

You will need 5 copies of each Phonics card page and at least two copies of the Bounce, Take Two...cards.

When the extra cards (Bounce, Take Two, Turn Around) are played the color remaina the same. as the last turn.

The rules are printed on the board.

The 'labels' can be printed on address labels and stuck to clothespins or printed on regular paper, cut apart and clipped with a clothespin (or paper clip).

This was created as a single player activity. If you have more than one student, print one for each player and have them race. Or players could take turns clipping answers on and checking each others work.

Make at least four copies of each card page for two players. You may add extra 'Wild' cards from another game for younger players.

I wish I had this game when I taught third grade.
